About Debbie Cleveland

Bio

Debbie Cleveland was born and raised in both Oregon and California and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Her career in hospitality included several Mobil 5-Star/AAA 5-Diamond Resorts such as Salishan Lodge on the Oregon Coast, Quail Lodge in Carmel, California, Williamsburg Lodge in Virginia and most recently, The Wauwinet here on Nantucket Island, where she was the Innkeeper for 15 years. She and her husband Russ, have lived on the Island since 1988 and have two grown daughters. Having spent over 20 years in the Hotel and Restaurant business, Debbie decided that she would enjoy a new career and in 2003 obtained her real estate license. It was a natural transition from selling guestrooms and a resort experience to selling beautiful homes and properties and she embraced her new career whole-heartedly and is now an active Broker in both Massachusetts and Florida. Debbie loves the Seasons of New England and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Her favorite sport is tennis and she also enjoys taking her West Highland Terrier, Maverick, for daily walks through the Moors or on the beach. A member of the Westmoor Club, she works out at the fitness center several times each week and swimming laps during the Summer months. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, weaving Nantucket Lightship Baskets and getting together with good friends and extended family. During the quieter months, she and her husband spend time in Vero Beach, Florida.
