About Ben Forst

Bio

Born and raised in East Hampton, Ben, a third-generation builder, has a deep understanding of the East End’s real estate market from land acquisition to architectural design and construction of high-end homes in the Hamptons. For years after graduating from East Hampton High School, Ben worked as a carpenter for his family’s residential building company, Forst and Silverblank, Inc., and in the summer, he worked as a lifeguard for the Village of East Hampton. As an accomplished world traveler in search of the perfect wave, Ben decided in 2002 to make a change, moving to the island of Oahu where the City and County of Honolulu hired him on as a professional lifeguard. He worked on the south, east, and north shore beaches for five years before he returned home to the East End. In addition to working in the family business, Ben, a licensed real estate agent, will bring his knowledge of design, modern sound construction techniques, and attention to detail to each client during the buying and selling process of either homes or land. When not at work, he can be found at any one of our beautiful beaches surfing.
